The company Hamilton Watch was founded in Lancaster, USA in 1892. Its first series of watches (pocket) was intended to provide accurate timing to the railroad community. The word Khaki has a Hindu origin to earth or dust and has been, for many years, the color of uniforms. The current Khaki clocks of the Hamilton collection are direct descendants of their predecessors, who served the military in both world wars.
