Tapping into and using humility in your leadership and with your team can build their trust in you, and give them a safe place to express, share, and problem solve.
When your team trust you , and each other, they’re more productive and innovative – which not only helps your bottom line, but makes it a great place to work.
I believe that humility really is the combination of these three things:
🌟Knowing your strengths – you’re confident in what you do know.
🌟Knowing what you don’t know - you don’t pretend to know everything.
🌟Willingness to admit it – by asking for help, getting others perspectives; being open and honest.
Humility is the sign of a confident, not arrogant, leader. And we need our leaders to be confident, for us to have confidence in them also.
